Cinnamon Chipolte~

I have been so busy with Spring cleaning, so tired in the evenings to even post to my blog.
We finished the top and bottom porches, painted them a cinnamon chipolte, pretty color.

The color is much darker when dried.like the doorway~
painted the shutters to match,my porches just pop now.
Looking for a new outer door, cannot decide on one yet.
The birdcage I added to the porch, found at a yard sale..love it

A treasure to behold,found at a resale shoppe.more to come~

Spring Cleaning~

Cold and raining tonight,it has been a productive 2 weeks, Spring cleaning around the house,preasure wsahing the driveway and house, painting the porches,and shutters, the roofers finished the roof Friday, the projects are getting done at a nice pace, planted tomatoes, cukes, transplanted glads and day lilies...tired but glad to see things coming together.. Satin Clothes Hangers Upcycled/Recycled~

Out early this morning, breakfast at Cracker Barrel,then browsed the store, love this old country store, sat out in the rocking chairs chatting with a neighbor, one of the good things about living in a small town is good neighbors~
Another great thing is my "favorite" resale/thrift store is 5 minutes from my home, spent some time browsing and loved every moment, this is my "Theraphy session.
Found 7 nice "Satin Clothes hangers", great for hanging those vintage slips, gathered a few trims to cover a couple of the hangers...they will be so pretty~~
