Synopsis 
Sara Crewe seemed just like a real princess... When Sara Crewe arrives at Miss Minchin's London boarding school, she seems just like a real little princess. She wears beautiful clothes, has gracious manners, and tells the most wonderful stories. Then one day, Sara suddenly becomes penniless. Now she must wear rags, sleep in the school's dreary attic, and work for her living. Sara is all alone, but keeps telling herself that she can still be a princess "inside, if only she tries hard enough.

On one of my "junkin" trips. I found these glove stretchers, I remember  them from my grandmothers, been years since i had seen a pair. grabbed them up so fast smile~

Grandmother's Vintage Watch~Keepsakes of the Heart~

Granny's watch no longer held time, it rested in a drawer out of site and mind~   many times I picked the old watch up..thinking one day I would take to a repair shop, that day just never came,  gathering bits and pieces  I decided to create a "Keepsake"...I could wear the watch as a vintage necklace -- and be a beautiful old treasure on my dressmaker in my home~ No longer forgotten and unseen in a drawer~

 I wanted to use a old key from our old homestead- this was going to a "Memory"  necklace, one that held treasures from the past,

Memories on the Dresser~

Bitter Cold day, piddling today--meaning I am into everything--cleaning my dresser chest--finding "memories"...My daughter "Ben" photo set in a old silver frame-her knitted baby shoes- 1st. pair of shoes-treasured memories..found her tiny baby bracelet in the shoe box-all these treasures tucked in a dresser drawer~~

Wrapping a "Package" in vintage patterns...add a set of hand stamped cards tucked in tattered lace-ties with a scrunched ribbon--tie all up with a tattered lace bow..add your own design printd card~~ Of course what's inside is also vintage~ smile~

Upcycled this Vintage Keepsake

Upcycled this Vintage Keepsake into a useable item..Vintage pin cushion~~~using lace/crochet trims, buttons -tea stained tattered roses, a great addition to my sewing room~Remember Repurpose/upcycle~

Sharing a "How To"...Project on this wet dreary day. Teacup pin cushion...this teacup was just sitting on a shelf.. I added kitty litter to a baggie..hot glued the bag inside the cup. sewed stuffing in a ball, covered with a pretty rose fabric, hot glued the ball to inside of cup. Glued cup and saucer together. added a few trims, a tattered scrap of crochet to the saucer.hot glued a few old buttons, and my mother's thimble to the scrap of crochet..
