Mason Jar Lid~~~ pin cushion
Mason Jar Lid~~~ pin cushion--
sharing a Lil Creative Juice~
using a big mouth mason jar lid.
glue lid and top together-
add kitty litter to a baggie --
just enough to flatten in lid---
glue in side the lid--
this will give the pin cushion some weight---
cut a square of fabric (your choice)-
-creating a ball in your hand the size of the jar lid -
I used batting--cover the ball with the fabric--
hot glue fabric to ball at the bottom-this
will create a round ball for the pin cushion---
hot glue to rim of jar lid--stuff the ball of
covered fabric in the jar lid--cover bottom of
lid bringing the fabric up over the ball and
hot glue--will look messy at this point BUT
wait it gets better----- ---I used a doily to
cover the complete top hot glued in place---
-Now you are ready for some vintage trims
of your choice---My pretty Mason Jar Lid Pin
cushion~~smile~

Life is like a camera~
Echoes of Time~
The steeple stands so proud
The echoes are still there When I listen very close I hear singing in the choir And preaching was a plenty The Sabbath was its day That old altar was the key Most humbly they did pray Those old weathered boards Oh what stories to be told The congregation was all there And the bell chimes were gold They came from far and near Parked under trees with shade In the dirt where they sat Many wagon tracks were made The mules were so content As they grazed on green grass Slightly peaking their ears When a big Amen was passed Plenty of shouting and rejoicing Still hangs in every crack No memories will ever be lost Nor echoes will it lack Such a big part of history And a grand, old Godly place It touched so many hearts With beauty, dignity and grace That old door is still open Just like it was before Calling, calling to someone Come on in there's still more Listen closely to each sermon There's many left to hear "Amazing Grace" still echoes Through the wooded path so clear © Susie Swanson, 2015 Published in my Book "Echoes Of Time" but the pic is not in it. In this ever changing world wouldn't it be nice to go back to this simple time.. We need God in our hearts more so today than ever before.

I do not know of another state-
Where I would rather be
" Than this great state I'm living in-
And that is Tennessee.
I love the stars dearly-
And there are surely three
That show the Grand Division-
Of my home-land, Tennessee.
Where could you find a meadow-
With grass so vividly green?
Where could you find the mountains-
With such majestic scene?
You will never find so bright a moon-
To shine down from above
You will also see the robin-
The wren, and the turtle dove.
And don't forget the rivers-
Where visitors long to stay.
And many have voice in parting,-
'I'm sure glad I passed this way.'
You will see the cattle grazing-
Beside a cotton field;
And there's the Grand Ole Opry-
And a feeling it's all God's will.
I have lived here all my life-
It's where I'm going to be
Although I've traveled quite a bit,-
I'll still take Tennessee!
Oh, I sure love the state I'm in:
"The great state of Tennessee!"
