Tattered Jeans~~Ok I love "Tatters"

Tattered Jeans~~Ok I love "Tatters" I will sit and tatter a brand new pair of jeans to almost shreds~ A pair of jeans I have been working on.... These are way to big for me NOW..after all the work... they have bling on the pockets..front edge of pockets--- I cut and re-added the hem added shabby tatters,,, roses--pieces of old denim...I shredded front legs on the jeans--added a fabric behind sheds-OOAK for sure~~

I love creating Tattered Roses They turn out so pretty~ Grab a basket of scrap laces..sew/ or hot glue gun... Start creating..

Autumn Crochet duster

Good Morning~~~ Cloudy cool day here in Tennessee~ a great day to do some landscaping around the pool..it is looking like a jungle out there..pulling all the periwinkle & mint up---That stuff grows like crazy~ .adding wood chips- Worked on my Autumn Crochet duster--1 step at a time, This has been a long process--tack a piece-- take a pic--remove that section Redo over and over till it hangs just right~ This will be tea stained a vintage color.add old buttons--a few tatters and this DUSTER will rock this Fall~ WORK calls~~ The Fun is over for a few hours..So wish I had a landscaper..~~. waving at ya'LL~Have a good one

Hand Made with Love~,,,A "Keepsake"....I have many hand made quilts My mother, grand mother and I quilt..and I cannot even imagine someone giving a quilt away Hand it down to someone in the family...these are treasures--so much work.love and time is put into a quilt. That being said-I found these wonderful quilts in a lil junkin shop in Ringgold Ga today~ Someone spent a great deal of time on these quilts..7 stitches per inch..good batting, great old domestic fabric on back~ As I picked up the quilt, I thought..I would love to know the story behind these old quilts..SAD~ But I added these to my buggy and was very grateful I found them

Grandmothers Old Crochet dolly~~Granny would starch these sweet crochet pieces so stiff---all her doilies would be set in a heavy blue starch over night--then set out in the sun to stiffen. These old things holds some great memories --you thought forgotten until it is sat in front of you Then feeling the treasure brings back days long forgotten in the mind~

Take a pair of old worn jeans --throw in some fabric /lace scraps~~My scarecrow tattered jeans are coming along nicely~ Making these for the Fall Craft Festivals at Ketner's Mill ~ Have the straw hat to add tattered patches on--- And I will be ready to Rock the craft shows~~ I love these old worn soft jeans perfect for relaxing~~
