Recycled Bib Blue Jeans Craft Apron

Blue jeans just never go out of style,well maybe they do, thats when upcycle recycle comes in, I cut the bib overalls at the seams,on the side, leaving the bib attached and the straps, cutting the straps in the back at the V~ The straps are attached in back with a button can be adjusted.

I added vintage and shabby trims using a vintage dresser linen,on the top with cotton patchwork.

cut the trims from the vintage linen quilted onto the pocket, the heart has vintage crochet sewn around the edges.

created a coordinating shabby belt, ties into a bow in back.

The bottom has cotton crochet

Shabby Chic Boot~

It's so hot outside 104 degress in the shade, I usually spend time working in the yard, not this week, cleaning,organizing nooks and crannys,my bath needed attention,makeup,creams a shipwreck~ While cleaning I was a little side tracked..under the bath counter I had stuffed 2 cermanic boots. gave the boot a good cleaning. I thought the boot would look great with a few shabby trims. Looks pretty good. I don't know what I will add to this boot. I may add some bling maybe not..smile~ One of my "Junkn~ finds..

Baked Potato Dip

Baked Potato Dip.. Bake 2 large potatoes in micro oven, in bowl add 1 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup chopped green pepper, 1/2 sweet onion diced, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 stick butter,4 strips of bacon cooked and crumbled, using a fork mash all the ingredients together.. serve with chips,crackers or spring rolls..Yum~

Vintage Gown A Touch Of Class~

Found this beautiful soft lace gown in a vintage shoppe, it is just so feminine,the top is lined in a soft nylon,scooped design, just lovely. The bottom of the gown is full and sexy~ added a tea stained silk rose a few shabby trims to the top, a Vintage tag with tea stained ribbons, lace trims just a few more trims and this lovely vintage treasure will be added to my Etsy Shoppe..

A Treasure From The Past~Grannys Sweater Pin~

What a memory this little piece of Vintage Jewerly brings to mind, so many years ago, back to sitting in a church pew with granny~ She had a beautiful soft rose colored dress on with a white cashmere sweater.. at her neck was this vintage sweater pin. holding this precious treasure in my hand, brought tears to my eyes, how many years have passed? So many that I have forgottton so many things that are precious to our soul~ Granny wore a light dusting of face powder that smelled so good,a touch of rouge,I loved to run my hand in grannys pockest, she always had a tissue wrapped, inside were cotton balls with her face powder, granny never has a "shiny" face always so demure and such a quaint little lady. My love of Vintage and Pearls, is from my grandmother, this precious pearl sweater pin just makes me feel so humble. Such small treasures of the past, that means so much to one, many years after the passing of a loved one.makes you feel like "I feel your presence~ Stay with me forever~
